Another Toot on the Solar Trumpet!

12th September 2019

The National Farmers Union (NFU)  are urging farmers to double the agriculture sector’s capacity for solar generation. In their vision for net-zero emissions by 2040, the NFU has put a number of markers down for how carbon reduction can be achieved.

Whilst solar PV is just part of the plan, the medium offers farmers an easy fix. Not only does it lower carbon emissions, but it also improves profitability!

Here at Boston Renewables, we welcome the NFU’s 2040 campaign. We have worked across all sectors of agriculture and are well versed in the ‘muck & bullets’!
