Corporate Demand for Clean Energy

14th September 2020

The inexorable journey to ‘net zero’ has well and truly begun. Our major corporates have declared their commitments to achieve the goal, so all that’s left to do is deliver.

News last week that Renewable UK, Tech UK and the Solar Trade Association have joined forces to promote the uptake of green power adds welcome impetus to the cause. Read more here.

The key to ‘net zero’ however, is economic viability. A cleaner, greener future will only come to fruition if the money stacks up and there’s some great news on this too:

RenewableUK’s director of future electricity systems Barnaby Wharton said: “Wind and solar are the cheapest forms of new power generation which will lead the green economic recovery the UK needs. I’m delighted that we’ll be working more closely with techUK and the STA to deliver, the smart, flexible power system of the future faster than anyone expects.”

Please believe Barnaby’s words and contact Boston Renewables to find out how we can help your business reduce not only its carbon output, but its energy bill too.
