Tesco to co-create three UK solar farms
The news from Tesco here should come as no surprise to anyone buying grid supplied electricity. Retail prices for electricity continue to rise unabated, whilst the cost of solar pv heads in the opposite direction.
For businesses big and small, it makes financial as well as environmental sense to install solar pv where possible. A solar pv array installed today will provide a source of renewable electricity for over 30 years at a 70% discount to grid supplied power.
